This Thursday (6/20) the Senate Appropriations Committee will consider an amendment from Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) to the Fiscal Year 2014 (FY14) Agriculture Appropriations bill to block inspections of horse slaughter facilities by USDA officials.
