Set to headline the March 20 and 26 shows, the music icon will perform at his home - the legendary Luck, TX ranch - in support of his forthcoming album A Beautiful Time, set for release on April 29, 2022 on Legacy Recordings. Luck, Texas is the "mythical" Western town and movie set of Nelson's 1985 “Redheaded Stranger.” It now doubles as a famed venue space, with artists from all over the country gracing its stage.
These shows are part of Luck Presents’ very special Spring Concert Series, marking the first time artists’ own individual shows will be held on Willie Nelson’s Luck Ranch. The Spring Concert Series includes Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit with Danielle Ponder on March 18, followed by Shakey Graves & Friends on March 19, and Modest Mouse on April 29. Luck Presents’ Spring Concert Series is a welcome and overdue addition to the Austin-area music scene, providing music fans with one of the most unique live experiences in the country.
This week, Luck Presents hosts their 10th Annual Luck Reunion. The event, presented by Southwest Airlines, marks a decade of Luck Presents throwing music celebrations on the property. The Reunion boasts more than 40 acts, culinary experiences with chefs from around the country, and unique experiences throughout the town, giving music lovers the rare opportunity to hang out in Nelson’s backyard, nestled in the rolling hill country just outside of Austin.
This year’s Reunion lineup features Willie Nelson and Family, Japanese Breakfast, Allison Russell, Weyes Blood, Steve Gunn, Delta Spirit, Sunflower Bean, Black Lips, Charley Crockett, Lost Gonzo Band with Michael Martin Murphey, Adia Victoria, and many more.
